Set on the banks of the SabieRiver, Sabie is a small forestry town in the Kruger Lowveldregion of Mpumalanga. The name Sabieis derived from the Tsonga word of “Ulusaba” which means fearful. Surrounding the town, is one of the largest man-made forests in the world and the plantations and sawmills provide work for many people.
Roughly 65kms from the hugely popular Kruger National Park, Sabieis the ideal stop-over for those travelling there. Home to many beautiful waterfalls
